It's a nice hotel. The views are better than some of the hotels on the waterfront. Nice place.

Pros: Spectacular views.

Cons: none.

Great Location and Good Hotel

I travel often and stay at a lot of hotels, most of which are Holiday Inns and Crowne Plazas (I'm a Priority Club member). There is nothing fancy about this hotel but it is quite nice in that is centrally located in Portland and the staff are very nice. The rooms are average (or above average for a Holiday Inn) and the price is reasonable most of the time. If I were traveling for a luxurious vacation, I might go somewhere else (and pay three times as much) but everytime I travel to Portland for work, I try to stay here. The parking is underground and quite tight. The pool is nice but often filled with children. I have never had a complaint about this Holiday Inn and would encourage anyone to stay.

Pros: Location

Cons: Parking
